GC Aesthetics is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thanuj Thevar as “GCA Territory Sales Manager – UK/IRE”.
Tan has over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, working with Interventional Radiologists, Breast Radiologists and Surgeons, Cardiologists and Urology Consultants covering multiple regions in EMEA. He delivered outstanding results working with international companies such as iMEDicare and Merit Medical.
Tan is currently studying for his MBA (Master’s in Business and Administration) and gained his MSc in Biomedical Sciences at Lancaster University. He is proficient at identifying customer needs and an astute problem solver.
We sat down with Tan to ask him some questions:
Why did you decide to join GC Aesthetics?
GC Aesthetics has a long-standing history of making high quality products in the aesthetic market and is in an exciting phase launching innovative new products that together with the opportunity to lead UK and Ireland as a country manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow within a well-respected company in this field.
What do you find interesting about Territory Sales Manager UK & Ireland?
As a country manager who has worked with various teams and within different medical device sectors in the past, I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience in NHS and Private sector to formulate and implement an effective strategy as a team to increase our brand, presence, and market share in this high potential region.
What do you consider the biggest challenges and opportunities?
NHS and private health system in light of COVID and Brexit has brought about new dynamic challenges and requires adaptability to stay ahead in a competitive environment. This also brings about new opportunities to find innovative ways to work collaboratively with NHS and Private trusts where there is plenty of potential to grow the business.
