The EASAPS biennial meeting has become a special event, where all the National Societies can meet to learn new practices and discuss hot topics. The event promotes and focuses on European education and training within the plastic surgery industry. The 3-day event will be filled with interesting presentations, symposiums and discussions. One of the main goals of the meeting is to discuss new ideas related to Patient Safety and new technologies.

He was appointed the first professor of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in the Netherlands and he is affiliated with the University Medical Center Groningen. He has been chairman of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for more than 10 years. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and extensive experience in breast augmentation and revision.
