At GC Aesthetics, we believe in supporting patients diagnosed with breast cancer.

Now in its second year, Live your breast life is a campaign designed to provide support to women diagnosed with breast cancer.

Through educational resources about breast cancer and breast reconstruction, access to our safe and reliable products, and fundraising activities for breast cancer research and better patient care, “Live your breast life” is about supporting women so they can live life to the fullest.

Check your breasts

A key part of “Live your breast life” is a reminder to check your breasts. One in eight women will get breast cancer during their lifetime. That’s why prevention is so important – and it takes less than three minutes to check your breasts.

Many women do not know how often they should check their breasts, nor how to do it, so we want to explain the process step-by-step and show how fast and easy it is.

Checking your breasts just once per month allows you to detect any abnormality and increases chances of a successful treatment.

Educational information

At GC Aesthetics, we are committed to providing up-to-date information around breast cancer and breast reconstruction.

On our website, patients can find answers to frequently asked questions, watch testimonials from other women who have overcome breast cancer, download materials for offline reading and more.

There is a lot of information out there – but we want to make it more accessible and ensure patients that they can easily find relevant and useful information via GC Aesthetics.

Fundraising for Breast Cancer Now

Not only do we provide patients with up-to-date educational information and access to our safe and reliable products, but we also want to offer some additional support to breast cancer charities assisting women diagnosed with breast cancer.

Therefore, we have decided to collaborate with Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, and their campaign “Wear it Pink“.

“Wear it Pink” day is one of the biggest breast cancer fundraising events. Taking place on 23 October, thousands of amazing people “wear it pink” in their communities, schools or work places.

Right now, we don’t know what the world will look like in October. What we’ll be able to do. Who we’ll be able to go and see. But we know that breast cancer doesn’t stop for anything. So, if there was ever a time to wear it pink – Wear it on Friday 23 October.

Join us at GC Aesthetics in wearing pink for all those affected by breast cancer.

As part of this collaboration, we are trying to fundraise €1,500 euros for Breast Cancer Now.

Donations will be made through JustGiving which go direct to the charity Breast Cancer Now.
